The GreenBank guesthouse and restaurant overlooks the road once known as the “Kings Road”. The A5 was then the route taken by the King on his way to his estates in North Wales and on Anglesey.
Your can take a break with us to enjoy a coffee and home made cake, a lunch in our courtyard or stay a little longer to appreciate the warm friendly service and comfy accommodation and leave having enjoyed a great breakfast with the promise to visit us again soon.

Llangollen has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and is alive with tiny shops to browse as well as some wonderful historic places to explore as well as its renowned and varied walking trails and places to day trip to. These are all waiting for you to enjoy again and again as they take on a different fell with each passing season.
If you are planning a walk in the breathtakingly lovely hills or follow the canal taking in the wildlife and soaking up the history, our kitchen is always on hand to offer you a choice of hampers and picnic ideas to keep you well nourished. Please ask a member of staff or our Chefs when you arrive for our selections.
If it is a “Chill Out” you are looking for, then enjoy a lazy morning relaxing in the guest lounge or in a sunny corner of the courtyard. There is always a member of staff on hand for a coffee, freshly ground and presented with a selection of indulgent homemade cakes and treats.
